Complaints, safety reports and appeals
Working draft — pending review by qualified Indian legal counsel. It is not yet a binding policy, and highlighted [PLACEHOLDERS] will be filled before launch.
How to report a concern, what happens next, and how to appeal.
If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services (112) first.
What you can report
- Misleading credential claim
- Fee or terms dispute
- Harassment or threatening conduct
- Privacy concern
- Suspected impersonation
- Other policy or legal concern
What happens next
- You get a reference number. A report is an allegation until it has been reviewed.
- We triage by risk; privacy exposure, threats and credible imminent harm come first.
- Evidence you attach is private and seen only by complaint reviewers.
- Where safe and appropriate, the astrologer is told the substance of the concern (never who raised it) and can respond with evidence.
- A trained person records the evidence considered, the policy applied, the decision and the reasons. Temporary safety measures may be used while a case is open; they are not findings.
- Both sides are told the outcome, without revealing confidential information about the other.
Appeals
Either side can appeal a decision. Appeals go to a different reviewer where practicable, and the original and revised decisions stay on record.
Our working targets
Internal goals, not guarantees or legal deadlines: acknowledge within 2 business days; urgent safety or privacy triage as soon as practicable; a standard decision within 15 business days where complexity allows; appeals within 15 business days.
Legal requests
Potential criminal threats, child-safety issues and lawful orders are escalated through a counsel-approved process. We cannot promise confidentiality where disclosure is legally required.
